Introduction

Knowledge Builder data mining system provides you with an extensive set of tree mining tools and facilities.

Using a MinedTree object you can perform data mining on data that has been defined in a Table object.

Once a tree has been developed you can use it as a Tree Filter to pass more data through the tree to classify which records fall into which branches (paths or Nodes) of your tree.

As with ordinary decision trees the mined tree can be deployed for automating decision making by using Knowledge Builder's runtime inference engine.
